Carlotta photographed the incredibly brave and inspirational Russian Journalist Maria Pevchikh for DeVolkskrant. Pevchikh was travelling with Alexei Navalny across Russia when he fell seriously ill. It was Pevchikh who recovered water bottles from Navalny’s hotel room for testing. The tests found traces of the deadly war agent novichok. She continues to expose high level corruption in Russia.
